Press Release: An Evening of Comfort Food at Porcini's in Watertown

PORCINI’S ITALIAN RESTAURANT SUPPORTS THE WATERTOWN POLICE FOUNDATION WITH AN EVENING OF COMFORT & FOOD

Watertown’s Own Porcini’s Donates All Profits From May 15th Event

WHAT: On May 15th, the one month anniversary of the Boston Bombings, Porcini’s Italian Restaurant on School Street is holding a special event to support the Watertown Police Foundation.

Porcini’s will be serving a 4-course meal of comfort foods in which all profits will go to the Foundation which provides support and counseling programs for affected police officers, and affected residents of the community, including many families with young children who are struggling to return to normal in the aftermath of having their homes and neighborhoods turned into battlegrounds.

The Comfort Menu includes your choice of Chicken Marsala, Pan-Seared Salmon, Chicken Parmesan, Sirloin Steak and many other entrees along with appetizers including Eggplant Rollatini, Mussels and Grilled Calamari…a complimentary glass of wine and chef’s choice for dessert.

Also for sale that night is the official Watertown Police Strong T-Shirt ($20) benefitting the Watertown Police Foundation. Order online, or pick yours up that night.

And if you’d like to get your giving started earlier that night, stop by the bar for a pre-dinner drink! Porcini’s will have specialty cocktails for the event and as with dinner, all bar profits will go toward this worthy cause.
