I have yet to try the food, but the menu looks delicious. They serve a wide variety sandwiches, salads, and baked goods all from local vendors. Many of the sandwiches are creative twists on classics, like a BLT with avocado and chicken salad with bacon (isn’t everything better with bacon??) The bakery case also looked amazing, and I was tempted to try the red velvet cupcakes (or the locally made ice cream) but had just had lunch and couldn’t possibly eat another bite. This place is definitely on the top my list to try for lunch next time I’m in the neighborhood!

The Cafe at Mohr & McPherson
Over the weekend while browsing the galleries and furniture stores in the South End, I wandered into the Café at Mohr & McPherson for the second time. Mohr & McPherson is a furniture store in the south end, with pieces imported from all over the world. The store has a very exotic feel, and the café fits in perfectly. While the coffee is undoubtedly some of the best in Boston, my favorite thing about this place is the ambience. There are several large tables, as well as big comfy chairs and couches with lots of pillows. There’s even a daybed where you can relax and sip your coffee!
